Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 May 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of FocusGP (“the Service”), operated by FocusGP, ABN 36 366 236 945 (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for medical practitioners and registrars preparing for RACGP examinations or for related professional education. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and are using the Service for these purposes.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorised access to your account.

One account is for use by one individual. Account sharing is a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.

4. Pricing and payment

Access to the Service is sold as a fixed-price, one-off purchase tied to a specific exam period (for example, access until 31 July 2026). There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. By purchasing you authorise the charge of the applicable fee to your nominated payment method. Access ends automatically at the end of the period stated for the plan you purchased; no further charge is made.

5. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your purchase, contact us at support@focusgp.com.au for a full refund. After 7 days, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantee that services be supplied with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for purpose.

6. Permitted use

You may use the Service for your personal exam preparation and continuing professional education. You may not:

  • share your account credentials with any other person;
  • copy, reproduce, scrape, download in bulk, or redistribute any question, explanation, or other content from the Service;
  • republish content on any other site, course, study group resource, or product, whether paid or free;
  • use the content to train any machine learning model or to populate any other question bank;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying database or source code;
  • use the Service in a way that interferes with its operation or with other users’ access.

7. Intellectual property

All practice questions, explanations, illustrations, structure, and code on the Service are owned by FocusGP or licensed to us. Cited third-party sources (clinical guidelines, journal articles) remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced under fair dealing for the purposes of education and review.

Images sourced from third-party repositories are used under their respective licences, with attribution as shown beneath each image.

8. Content accuracy

We take reasonable care to ensure that question content reflects current Australian clinical guidelines at the time of writing. However, we do not warrant that all content is free of errors or that all content reflects the most current version of every cited guideline. See our disclaimer for further detail.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, including the permitted-use restrictions in clause 6. In serious cases (such as sharing content publicly or attempting to scrape the bank), termination will be without refund.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
